Eating a few tacos from the Santo Patio food truck right now at Buzzkill in off Riverside. They are pretty darn good (I asked for no cilantro…yes I have THAT gene). They told me its a combination of langua and beef cheeks to minimize the fat. Who else has a good barbacoa in town? Not one that greasy AF and not dry.

One part beef cheek and one part lengua is how my family makes it too. I thought the barbacoa at De Nada Cantina was pretty good, it comes on blue corn with pickled onions. My issue is that a lot of barbacoa is under-seasoned.
Excellent $4 happy hour margs at the brick and mortar location, too!
Doing buzzmill dirty with that typo lmao
El primo de Monterrey on braker. Only available sundays.
really good food truck. the suadero quesadilla is fantastic
Off topic but I want to fight the person that set the spacing on that menu
El Grandpa in Georgetown is good if you are willing to drive out of Austin. Probably more authentic than most people would probably care for.
