Hi all. π First time growing tomatoes. Finally starting to heat up here in Melbourne. Is the circled one a sucker? I thought I was on top of them but they grew pretty quick in the past couple of days. Itβs an indeterminate variety. TIA!

The whole thing back to the main stem is a sucker.
That entire branch is a sucker.
Great, thanks all!
Take note of what a sucker looks like as sometimes they can outgrow the main stem and it can get confusing. Suckers are less strongly attached as the main stem and can break in a thunderstorm. Stay on top of them.
FYI, a sucker pinched off and placed in water will quickly develop roots and can be planted if you desire more plants.

All of this growth is a sucker
Can someone please explain what a sucker is? Thanks.
