Who’s cooking? Well, one woman from Wales, who has no intention of footing the bill.
Welshbuttergirl posted on TikTok: “I charge my family for Christmas dinner.
“At the end of the day, I’m doing them a favour, I’m sacrificing my Christmas day to be in the kitchen all day, to cook them a luxury meal.
“Have you seen the price of Turkey and how much it costs to make? I think I paid £65 for a turkey last year.

“So it’s the first time Theo’s (she points to a man behind her) family is coming up for Christmas dinner, and he seems to have a problem with us charging.
Theo then says: “What are you charging my mother for Christmas dinner?”
She responds: “I’m charging your mother as well as my mother for Christmas dinner.”
An argument then ensues, before welshbuttergirl says: “Why should I foot the bill when I’m sacrificing my day? To provide you with a nice meal.”
She then asks her followers, “Do you charge for Christmas dinner?”
And they responded in droves.

Someone else responded: “Who needs enemies with family like you?”.
Another viewer said: “Charging your own family for Christmas dinner is insane but each to their own I guess.”
One actually agreed: “Personally, I’d rather pay than cook all day and host and have a messy house and stressful day.”
But not everyone, “Are you joining? What happens if it’s not any good? Do they get a refund?”
