obv not for everyone & def not a traditional thanksgiving turkey but for those who don’t want to cook a whole turkey- I slow cook 1 to 2 lbs of turkey tenderloin + 1 to 2 jars of gravy and let it cook on low for 4-5 hrs it is soo good and so easy for when you’re cooking a million other things!

I would LOVE this
I’d devour a giant bowl of mashed potatoes, slow cooked turkey, stuffing, and corn
Yummmmmm
Honestly looks so much better than a slice of dry ass turkey breast.
Brilliant!
Stays hot and ready all day, too
Reminds me of school lunches, and I say that in a good way.
I would legit GORGE myself on that!
I’ve never heard of a turkey tenderloin
Isn’t that just soup?
What kind of gravy do you use? This looks amazing and I’m totally trying this.
I totally picked up one o these babies while they were on sale at the store. $4/lb is getting a lil pricey, buuuuut that looks scrumptious.
I do this with leftover turkey and put it over a big scoop of mashed potatoes or in a pie crust 🤤
I’m putting my 5lb bird in my slow cooker tomorrow
The way that I would fill my plate with this on top of some mashed potatoes 🤤 Add some rolls and green bean casserole on the side and it would be a perfect meal to me 💁♀️
Wow, loving this idea. Didn’t know that turkey tenderloins were a thing
Oh man this is brilliant, gonna do this next Thanksgiving (I’m Canadian, mine has already passed!). It’s just my husband and I, so no way I’m cooking a whole turkey just for two! This would top mashed potatoes so well.
What brand of gravy? That texture of the gravy looks perfect
Looks good, but then there won’t be turkey drippings to make grandma’s potato dressing with.
Rather have that delicious concoction than my mothers insanely dry turkey, she’s ruined it for me
I think this might just become a year round treat with this method, bowl style.
I do this with the boneless breast turkey loaf (?) and it is soooo good. I used chicken broth last year for the liquid and am going to try the gravy idea this year !!! Wow it looks so good !!!!
I would scoop some of that deliciousness on top of stove top stuffing and NOM NOM NOM!
Missed opportunity to say “because I’m too chicken to make a real turkey”.
Add some onions, peas, carrots, and potatoes and put it in a pie crust for turkey pot pie.
I have two turkey tenderloins in my freezer right now. You’ve inspired me, and I’m excited to make them in the crock using your gravy idea!!
Thank you for sharing ❤️ 🦃
My MIL did this with orange juice, cranberry sauce, and instant onion soup dry mix last night.
I hate turkey, but I devoured that…
This is what my mom did with the leftover turkey, I like it way better this way!
Omg I absolutely need to make this!!!!! Thank you for sharing!
Please invite me over. That looks great. I’ll bring some dinner rolls and mashed tators
Only thing I’d do different would be to make my own gravy, that stuff in a jar is just…not good, to me.
Honestly, this is mostly how it (traditionally cooked turkey that gets sliced) ends up looking on my plate anyhow, after I pull it apart and get it mixed all into the gravy and stuffing. Great idea!
Cook the turkey..! You’ll surprise yourself at what a great job you did! Everyone will be proud of you, the lil ones will sing songs about you, and the older ones will be saying thank God we don’t have to eat that turkey helper stuff she made last year! 😊 happy thanksgiving
