If you wanna feel like you got lucky and it makes you happy, then go for it. Enjoy your steak and happy Thanksgiving

Is pretty common price for American wagyu, which I actually like more that the a5. Which is like 80 a lb

Not really a jackpot, but the quality matches the price. Sometimes the WF steaks look like lower-tier USDA Choice at that price which I would skip. This one looks like higher-tier Prime which is in line with the price (WF regular grade pricing BTW, even though they don’t usually post USDA grades, they will sometimes have “prime” on a higher price tier).

On what planet is 26.99 a pound a jackpot find?

Lol. The only jackpot at whole foods is dollar oysters on Friday.

Marbling is outstanding, but the price isn’t

I wouldn’t pay more than $15/lb for a new York cut

Unpopular opinion: less marbling is better

Not a good price from my HEB. They charge $19.99/pound right now for prime grade and that one is priced higher as choice grade.

Not really, price seems fair to be honest.
