I don’t quite understand Michelin’s logic to give such a place a star. I do understand that they reward the food, not service, interior etc. But does this particular street food place really stand out from hundreds of thousands of others in the region and worldwide? Does the food fulfill the standard the Guide sets, like “quality of the ingredients” or “personality of the chef in the cuisine”?

There is a subreddit for any restaurant with a Michelin Star – r/MichelinStars – but this is for fine dining, and this post is not fine dining.
