LAS VEGAS — Albertsons and Smith’s are making hosting Thanksgiving and Christmas meals easier with their range of heat-and-eat options.

Thanksgiving and Christmas center largely around food, and for many, the idea of spending hours in the kitchen is unappealing and stressful. Smith’s, a subsidiary of Kroger, and Albertsons both offer customers heat-and-serve meal options starting in November for the holidays.

Currently, Albertsons’ Thanksgiving range is available, and after Thanksgiving, the retailer typically releases its Christmas menu. Looking back on last year’s menu, consumers can expect holiday favorites like prepared ham, turkey, and prime ribs. Both Smith’s and Albertson’s sell frozen sides ready to heat up and serve on the holiday table with dishes like mashed potatoes, baked macaroni and cheese, vegetables, dressing, and dinner rolls. Ready-made appetizers are also available, and Albertsons even offers whole meat and cheese platters.

Smith’s currently has a range of homestyle desserts ready to purchase, like a delicious pumpkin or pecan pie.

Consumers can order their Christmas meal from Albertson’s and Smith’s websites once the 2025 menus have been uploaded.
