Are these real reapers?

    They look a lot like it. Cut a piece off one and see if it smells really fruity/floral. And of course, if a tiny piece knocks you on your ass when you eat it, it’s a reaper (or maybe a scorpion).

    Who knows.

    These superhot varieties have been crossbred so much that ‘reapers’ are kind of just a homogeneous generic superhot pepper now.

    Friend bought some of these when he saw them in store a couple years back. They definitely aren’t as hot as reapers I have had elsewhere but they had the flavor profile of them. We grew some plants from the seeds of them but they still weren’t any more spicy than a store bought habanero.

    There’s a man called 13 Peppers 🌶️ on YouTube channel he’s had hotter peppers and even some peppers 🌶️ that I never even heard of either
