As the title suggests, this isn’t my first brisket, but it’s the first time I’m making one it my Weber Summit Kamado. I began smoking during the pandemic on a small Recteq, then upgraded to a 22-inch kettle in my quest for more smoke flavor. Over the years, I’ve made briskets that have been a hit with friends and family, but this year feels different. Earlier this year, I finally got the grill I had been dreaming of ever since I got my kettle to “practice” with charcoal, and today marks the moment when I finally put it all to the test.
