I injected the turkey, 3 days ago, with a brine solution. Ingredients of the brine were; herbs de province, garlic, cider vin. and brown sugar. The rub was one that a friend of mine made. Really happy with the results. Pulled the turkey off around midnight 🥱

Looks fantastic. So, how was it taste and moisture and doness? How many hours did you roast it? What temp?

I want to know everything about this. I’ve wanted to do this for years but I don’t currently own the rotisserie attachment needed. Is it worth it? Should I take the plunge?

  4. Looks great. I wanted to do ours on the rotisserie but I got vetoed for fried.

Did you run it with the lid off the entire cook?

    1) Make sure your fire is not so hot as to burn the outside before the inside is cooked through.
    2) if your turn speed is adjustable make sure its not to slow or that can also burn the outside .
    3) try different meats to cook on it because youre gonna love it !

Rib roasts work VERY well with a rotisserie ,its the way I cook them nearly every time .
And be aware that heavier pieces of meat won’t turn at the same speed as lighter pieces ( at least with my first one) and you may have to adjust time or height from the coals. Enjoy my friend ! Happy rotisserie-ing !

Holy shit that turkey looks absolute gas

  9. Onlyfire Rotisserie Kit is well worth it. Thats mostly the main reason I use the weber kettle. Have done many chicken and a test 14lb turkey on it and it worked perfectly.

Oh man! That looks so good. Injecting it with brine seriously makes such a huge difference, gets the flavor and moisture right to the core. How many pounds was the turkey?
