Enjoying a T-day eve and hope everyone is having a good evening ( primarily in the US). Pouring a new bottle of Geyserville as I get ready for tomorrow. Recently started collecting after years of appreciation and winery visits, but mainly grocery store and big wine chain purchases. Sharing what I have stockpiled (yes, a Ridge club member and last bottle opportunist) and interested to hear some recommendations outside my current focus. I have gravitated towards Sonoma and Paso wineries (cabs and zins), but have enjoyed tastings in Europe (Spain, France, Italy) and other regions (I found Romania actually has some interesting offerings!).
Where should I go from here? Truly would appreciate some recommendations.

More Left Bank Bordeaux and Rieslings
Northern Rhone, my dude.
Looks like you love some thick stuff.
Try acquiring some port, vintage ports especially.
Suggestion, avoid prosecco from Italy. Go with Trento wine or franciacorta if you want to stick with sparkling Italian. Trento sparkling wine are some of the best in the world (Giulio Ferrari riserva fondatore being the outstanding one) and they recently won a lot of trophy during London sparkling wine competition.
Those wine are made with champagne methodology. Prosecco they pick they grape in September October, and the product is out in the shelf in supermarket in March/april. There are some decent valdobbiadene prosecco but in general is low quality wine.

More Rioja more Jumilla
U liking that 2023 geyserville? I tasted it twice during earlier visits this year…. and wow! Especially compared to previous years which were pretty good… you ought to check out rafanelli… just down the road from Lytton location
Gotta have some Pinot noir in there as well as northern Rhône. Mix it up and go PACNW with willamette valley Pinots and rocks district Syrahs. Walla walla also makes killer viognier.
Maybe look to Australia, I have similar tastes as you op and I love penfolds bin 389 as my treat wine.
So your collection is very US heavy. I would add some old world stuff such as Rioja, Northern Rhone, Chateauneuf du Pape, Bordeaux, Tuscany if you look for wine with some body. Then I would also add some light to medium reds: German Spärburgunder (Pinot), Barolo, Barrbaresco, Loire Cab Franc and Etna.
If you want to try something new I would suggest Portugal producers such as Fitapreta or Wine and Soul and new wave South African wines such as Chenin by Mullineux
Try some Riesling.
Also, even if they aren’t your favorite bow, I suggest trying Pinot and picking up some you like.
Can’t just focus on NZ sauv, get yourself some good pinot from Central or Martinborough, and chardy from Auckland.
Find a house wine, something go to, and watch you collection mature
