Anytime now, they are ready to transplant. Good job they are nice and healthy
You can plant them out when you’re safely past your last frost. FWIW, I would separate those plants out into individual containers and let them grow a bit if it was still too cool to plant them out.
Wrong time of year for tomatoes in AZ. This looks like about 8-10 plants, and the largest two could be transplanted, but you’re about 4-5 months early for tomatoes. Wont hurt to try for experience, but don’t expect them to be healthy as the coldest time of year is coming and they hate that. Tons of other tips I could give, but it’s just not tomato season rn lol
Tomatoes thrive in temp in the 70’s and 80’s with lots of direct sunlight. They tend to have some struggles the further they get outside of that zone – kinda like us!
Don’t forget to harden them off before putting them outside. Which means exposing them to the outside in limited amounts. An hour for a few days and slowly increase over two weeks. If you put them straight outside they’ll get sunburnt and wind whipped and will most likely die.
And separating the biggest ones into individual pots is recommended. You can also put a fan nearby to help strengthen the stems.
