Is there a reason the cup isn’t closer to the chute to avoid making a mess?
As you can see, there are a lot of stray grounds that miss the cup. Wouldn’t it be better if the cup was literally right under the chute? Am I missing something?

Plastic also makes static, which makes mess. A taller, metal cup should help. It really should be provided with one…

Etsy sellers make a thing.

I bought the Baratza holder, which is … fine. It works. Looking at Etsy/3D printed options to essentially hold the cup to the top

RDT should solve your static issues. Look into getting a small spray bottle (and a dosing cup, so you have something to spray the beans in). Anything similar to this: https://amzn.eu/d/9AqRYKn

I just grind directly into the portafilter that I hold up under the grinder outlet Never make a mess and don’t ask for advice on how to not make a mess
I bought some bellows from Amazon and asked my friend with a 3d printer to make this riser for me. The combination of the two make work flow easy and eases the gripes I had with the machine

I have a Baratza – are you sure it’s not seeping out the edge? Your espresso is piled in the corner so it seems like there’s a leak there.
I had to use a piece of tape to cover it haha but probably should’ve had it replaced

I use a magnetic portafilter funnel and grind directly into it.

My first time seeing this grinder. I don’t think it was out when I bought my encore esp.
Has anybody had the regular encore esp and upgraded to this one?

I have the virtuoso plus and got a thingamagic from etsy for the same purpose of raising the cup. Also I spray the beans
