Albuquerque –
On November 27th, at approximately 10:19PM, Albuquerque Fire Rescue was dispatched to a vacant commercial building located at 108 Vassar SE for reports of a possible commercial structure fire. This use to be where a popular restaurant named Carraro’s Pizza.

AFR Engine 3 arrived on scene within less than 2 minutes and reported a medium sized commercial building with a working fire visible from the roof of the structure.
The fire was brought under control within 29 minutes of their arrival. Damage to the structure was mostly contained to the roof and the building will likely be a total loss.
No injuries were reported for any civilians or firefighters. no one will be displaced as a result of this fire. AFR Fire Investigators are on scene to determine the cause and origin of the fire. A cause has not been determined yet. No additional information is currently available.
