What does it say on the back? Where is it made?

It looks like it may be “salad dressing” made with kewpie mayo, rather than straight mayo?

This is a Chinese version and is quite completely different from the Japanese ones that come in the soft squeeze bottle.

Plastic can taste really weird, glass on the other hand tastes like blood for some reason.

Clearly I have no idea, but as most mayos don’t really taste different I’ll guess not.

Yes, it tastes like glass. Very crunchy texture with a copper aftertaste.

All non Japanese kewpie taste different than the made in Japan squeeze bottle. They all have different formulations and kewpie keeps changing the non Japanese ones to local tastes. kewpie just needs to sell the original formula. People buy kewpie because it’s Japanese. They don’t want a localized version.

The glass jar tastes sharp with a light sandy finish. The plastic is hard to chew and pairs poorly with dental work.
