To my understanding phthalates is a chemical commonly used to make plastic flexible. To my understanding, it’s also en endocrine disrupter. I have been in the plastic free lifestyle for years now. No need to point out that there is no point in reducing exposure from one source given the rest of the other sources that contribute to our daily endocrine disruption intake.
I am guessing at some point, before the age of plastics, cast iron tortilla presses were seasoned accordingly or perhaps people simply used their hands. Is anyone out there doing it the old school way. Am I crazy for prioritizing nutrition instead of taste?
