

















Previous visit in March 2025 before they lost their second star and my second visit as I live out of town. Shocked at some of the dishes they served at this price point.
The meal was previously 680 plus tax and tip and 200 per bottle for corkage. Now it’s 780 cad lol which makes it the most expensive sushi restaurant in the world only behind Masa.
We were served two vegetables as Otsumami which is crazy. I thought it was a palate cleanser but there was only 4 dishes served before nigiri including hairy crab, white fish with uni, otoro in dashi and grilled tilefish. Nigiri includes buri, ika, flounder, cherry salmon, Zuke, otoro, Murasaki uni and hand roll. May not be 100 percent correct as I am basing this off memory and visuals.
The Otsumami was uninspiring, especially with two vegetable only dishes. The nigiri portion also felt like it was phoned in. Ingredients are the best in Canada but does not justify the price point.
Honestly at this pricing, you are better off taking a short flight to NYC and going to Yoshino and Sushi Sho which are exponentially better.
