My Budget Espresso Station


I need to get one of those fancy dosing cups still and a dark mat I think because a white bench top is not great for coffee spills.
There's a new basket on order and I keep thinking about upgrading the Bambino but I really only make 2-3 coffees per day.

Edit: $1,000AUD ($650USD / 550€) for everything on the table.

    Nice. IMO this is not quite “budget” considering what I see on this sub. But I would say it qualifies as intro or beginner . The Bambino and some version of DF grinder is pretty much the consensus recommendation for first setups on this sub.

    Budget in my mind is a DeLonghi or something… A setup $200 or less

    Once you get good with it you’ll make better coffee than 50% of the places out there at minimum in the US

    Is the bambino plus a lot more worth it than the standard/non-plus? The auto milk steaming seems just whatever to me but the plus does have the 3-way solenoid valve that prevents excess dripping. Just not sure if it’s worth the extra money for that. Maybe I’m missing something because a ton of people here have it!

    Literally the set up I’m gonna start with but I wouldn’t call it budget, I’d call it; recommended. Price tag may not be the highest but sure ain’t the lowest either.
