Smoked the turkey this year. Came out even better than when I fried one. Smoked low and slow with only lump charcoal.

I like both styles but I consistently smoke mine, as I’m not fond of giant fireball explosions. I’m sure that’s an easy problem to avoid but I’m not taking that chance at all.
