Soresina Eco-pack butter is the first on the market to choose the Mater-Bi wrapping, the material made with renewable raw materials (such as corn and potato starches) and compostable, i.e. destined to be disposed of together with organic waste, thanks to biodegradability within 90 days.
The Mater-Bi wrapper, certified by an accredited laboratory according to the EN13432 standard, is printed with inks that are not only safe but also compatible with the ecological profile of the packaging.
The care of the packaging is part of the already wide range of initiatives carried out by Latteria Soresina. Her butter is produced with only fresh cream processed a few hours after the milking of the cows raised by the members, all near the Soresina plant, in the province of Cremona. The control of the entire supply chain, starting from the animal breeding phase, is subject to specific certification.
