I just saw these white rings possibly with tiny black dots in the center on my Purple Cherokee tomato plant. This is its first fruit and it cracked a little due to the heavy rains a couple weeks ago. I already mulched before the rains and the crack healed so I thought it was fine, but I just noticed these rings today. Because of the black dots I suspected a stink bug but the photos look a bit more discolored. Please help!

  1. Have you tried scratching it off with your finger? I really wouldn’t worry about it

it’s an unsuccessful mold attack, plant still doing fine but weak, treat with potassium bicarbonate solution, 10 grams per liter.
Keep the plant dry if possible, also do a propolis treatment, that will help build strength of the plant

Update: With the help of the commenters, I did some more searching and found that this matched up with unsuccessful gray mold. https://www.forestryimages.org/browse/image/5577800

Edit: Also the little rings are called ghost spot. The more you know!
