There are multiple restaurants in Ocala and Marion County that will keep their doors open on Thanksgiving this week for lunch and/or dinner. Many are offering special menus to commemorate the holiday, while others are offering catering and takeout options.

Here is a partial list of the restaurants in Ocala and surrounding areas that will offer their services on (or slightly before) the holiday:

La Cuisine – 48 SW 1st Avenue – The most popular French restaurant in all of Ocala will serve its traditional turkey breast roulade with various accoutrements, as well as butternut squash and apple bisque, and Pumpkin Tartelette with Cinnamon Chantilly for dessert. The restaurant will also offer a limited regular menu. Hours of operation are listed as 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., but diners are encouraged to call 352-433-2570 for reservations and more information.

Cody’s Original Roadhouse – 8169 SW State Road 200 – Cody’s is offering both to-go Thanksgiving options and in-house dining options from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The business will serve up roasted turkey, ham, and steaks with all the fixings and a free slice of pumpkin pie. Reservations must be made by calling 352-877-2393.

Pasta Faire – 10401 SE US Hwy 441 (Belleview) – The restaurant will offer a Thanksgiving menu that features turkey, ham, spaghetti, filet mignon, lasagna, haddock, and several other dishes. All dishes will be served with a choice of soup or salad and bread. The restaurant is also selling baked pumpkin, pecan, and apple pies for $17 each (or $4.50 a slice). Northgate Diner – 3541 NE Jacksonville Road – The diner will feature its normal, full-service menu from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Thanksgiving lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Thanksgiving menu includes turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potatoes, pink fluff, green bean casserole, corn casserole, cranberry sauce, homemade applesauce, rolls, and a drink and a dessert. Live Fire Chefs – 506 S. Pine Avenue – Opened in 2024 near downtown Ocala, Live Fire Chefs will offer a Thanksgiving menu featuring several different meat options, including turkey, ham, prime rib, and even Australian lamb chops. Elevation 89 – 1770 SW 60th Avenue – A Thanksgiving Day buffet will be served from 11 a.m. through 4 p.m., featuring prime rib, roasted turkey, ham, and all the traditional sides. Adults cost $41.95 and children cost $18.95. Inquire about reservations by calling the restaurant at 352-655-2880.

Ivy on the Square – 53 S Magnolia Avenue – The dining room is fully booked for Thanksgiving, but the business is still accepting take-out and catering orders. Those may be picked up between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, however, they have already ended the ordering period. Mimi’s Cafe – 4414 SW College Road – The restaurant chain will serve a traditional turkey dinner and will remain open through dinner service. For more information on the menu or hours, or to make reservations, call Mimi’s Cafe in Ocala at 352-291-8668.

GG’s Heavenly Soul Food – 2209 E Silver Springs Blvd – GG’s is offering catering orders, with a deadline established last week.
