If I lived closer, I’d probably be hitting up Radici Project at least once a month to be honest.

They’re an Italian/Japanese fusion restaurant on College st, located in Little Italy and I have never been so blown away by a pasta dish before.

It’s better known for their tasting menu but my party of 4 went for the bar menu (a la carte) to pick and choose different dishes that we like and to share.

Bread and butter – superb

Chicken karaage – a hit with the whole party – deboned chicken stuffed with stuff haha (mushrooms, etc) served with some kind of cream sauce (sorry didn’t pay attention to what was in it exactly) and mushroom salt

Beef main – this one took us by surprise because we were expecting a larger portion but for $32 downtown at a fine dining restaurant, I don’t know what we were expecting. Despite the size, it was an incredible dish and served with tofu

Cavatelli – the star of the entire meal for me. Rich, umami, unexpected. I wasn’t expecting to get such a flavourful punch with every bite (in the best way possible) and you best believe I ate every single cavatelli and slurped up every single drop of the crab bisque that it was paired with

Desserts – the apple pie was good, the apple pieces inside especially. The mousse was really light and didn’t stand out too much but the pastry underneath was a lovely compliment of texture to the softer, mousse top.

The petit four was not my favourite as I don’t enjoy sour foods but the rest of the party enjoyed the little donut fritter and sea thorn berry jelly

For everything pictured, the bill came up to $120 before tips (this is for my partner and my portion. We ate everything pictured and we also did not drink)

11/10, highly recommend. Chef Emiliano is also incredibly personable and was talking to every table and checking in on all of us to make sure we were enjoying the food and having a good time

Looks good, but I can’t help but be skeptical of the number of glowing 5* reviews on google. How much was the tasting menu?

We went for a recent anniversary, 10/10

We’re drinkers, biggest menu with a cocktail and wine pairing $300 each tax and tip included. Worth every penny

What is that bread in the first picture? Did they give it to someone that had never sliced bread before?

And I hope the food was good, but the pictures look very mild
