I was gifted these awhile ago and just thawed them from my freezer. Any idea what cut this is and any tips on how to cook them? TYIA!

Beef tenderloin-great steak. Brush lightly with olive oil and then heavy salt/pepper. Let them come up to room temp and then sear on all sides in hot skillet (cast iron if you have it). Transfer to oven (375) until 135-140 degrees in the middle. Take them out of skillet straight to cutting board and let them rest 10 minutes and enjoy. Toss in a cpl pats of butter when you put them in the oven and flip them once (pro tip). Shouldn’t take more than 2-4 minutes in oven at that size.

End caps on a tenderloin. Cut into thinner disks, sear quickly on both sides then finish slowly at lower temp to your desired doneness with lots of butter and herbs of your choosing. Enjoy!
