If you’re an unrelenting fan of NY-style Chicken/Gyro over rice like I am, but feel that quality at The Halal Guys has dropped significantly, another spot recently opened up and it is phenomenal!
The best part is that the portions are quite large (this is easily enough for two meals) and only $9.99.
I’m aware that this sub tends to skew towards the North Side, but I cannot emphasize how worth the drive to this place is. I myself have happily made the ~1hr trip on the CTA every week for the last 3 weeks.
