So it seems that meat is an expensive product but in some countries it is probably very cheap: example Chad. And then there are the Seychelles.. I guess the reason why there consumption is that high is either because of the tourists or the influx of foreigners who live and work there….
This does raise the question how such data is collected and what it actually means when compared to the income per capita and thus the percentage of the income is spend on meat.
