OK it might not be a stone but what I first thought was a horrible quaker when I saw it turned out to be some roast corn. Alas I'll never know what it would have tasted like.

Day 17: They are onto me. I never made it to the coffee. Tell my wife and kids I love them.

Where is this? I’ve been doing speciality coffee in the UK for almost 15 years now, and i’ve never had a single stone or other foreign body in my coffee. Whats with quality control elsewhere? is this an american problem? I never see this anywhere else.

Now I’m watching corn.

🤷🏽Corn doesn’t sound all that bad to a person who had once made dog food espresso, and drank 3/4 a latte before noticing😳🤬

Yeah, I feel ya.
I recently ordered whisky in a hotel bar and almost drank bourbon. Phew, that was close!

Flavour really pops.

Hmm time for an experiment- how much roasted corn before it stops tasting like coffee?

Corn – Not even once
This black Corn fetish has to stop. My wife dont like light roasted corn since she tried this black corn
Amazed that didn’t pop during the roast. I had a kernel in this batch of Ethiopia Harrar that popped in my fluid bed roaster. Overall pretty low quality coffee from the first roast and this was the icing on the cake.

But it might taste a-maize-zing
Sorry, the pun was too obvious
