I had a a thriwing chili plant for a year, but first chili and mistakes were made. I think TLRDR i let it do its thing and it grew a ton of spicy treats. During that lost energy and leaves started to thin, any way i can aave ze?

Let it keep sending out leaves to find out where the stems have died back. Cut the dead stems and love it. You don’t have to have a plant that produces inside, you have to survive the winter for a bigger and better season next year! So pick off any flowers you see so that your plant can focus on root/canopy growth vs fruit development.
