PHOENIX — Estelle, a two-story Mediterranean and Mexican-inspired restaurant/bar, opened in Old Town Scottsdale on Wednesday.

The Jocque Concepts creation, which is located at 4439 N. Saddlebag Trail, is 5,800 square feet and can serve up to 400 people at a time in its open-air space.

The new restaurant’s menu features Ahi fish tostadas with chipolte aioli and leeks and a Mediterranean platter with skewers, hummus and tzatziki. Signature dishes such as these have been spearheaded by Mexico City native Hector Cruz.

It will be open at 4 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. on weekends, and the restaurant will also host a grand opening party on Dec. 20.

With the significant difference in hours of operation, the new joint will offer both “golden hour” and “lunar hour” deals, with $12 signature cocktails, pizzas and small plates including papas bravas and queso fundido.

The extensive drink menu is highlighted by the Sunseeker (tequila-based), the Huguette Spritz with pear and mint and the Casa Blanca with gin.

Co-owner of Jocque Concept Caitlin Jocque said in a release she’s excited that Estelle is in “the heart of the (Scottsdale) entertainment district.”

“Arizona is full of beauty and energy, and we wanted to create a place that truly celebrates both — a destination for sunseekers to unwind in an open-air space with beautiful views of Camelback Mountain,” Jocque said.

“As Arizona natives, we can’t wait to welcome our community and share Estelle with everyone.”
