INGREDIENTS FOR TWO

  • French beans 200g (long beans work well too!)
  • One capsicum
  • Silken tofu 400g
  • Oatmeal 200g (the type of oatmeal to use is up to you! Rolled oats has a creamy texture whereas steel cut oats has a grainy texture)
  • Water 400ml (to use to cook the oatmeal. do add more water if you feel that the oatmeal is getting too dry)
  • Gochujang 2 tbsp
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Light soy sauce 2 tbsp
  • Kimchi
  • Seaweed (ready for snacking)

RECIPE

  1. Slice the french beans and capsicum.
  2. Saute the french beans and capsicum and set aside when cooked.
  3. Add the oatmeal and water to a pot, and cook the oatmeal.
  4. Add tofu to the oatmeal and continue cooking the oatmeal until the oatmeal has a creamy texture. Remember to stir and add water if necessary to ensure that the oatmeal does not burn.
  5. Add the cooked french beans and capsicum to the oatmeal.
  6. Add the gochujang, sugar and light soy sauce to the oatmeal and stir well.
  7. Top off the gochujang oatmeal porridge with kimchi and seaweed! 🥳🎉🧑‍🍳
