So I've been growing a bunch a chillies from seed under lights and have been slow to put them outside. They're now growing full chillies.

If I plant these outside now are they just going to be stunted or will they take off again?

There’s always a certain amount of transplant shock. Transplanting a plant that’s already fruiting isn’t ideal but it will get over the shock and produce more fruit. What’s your alternative? Don’t plant it and get no harvest? Sow a new set of seeds and be weeks (months) behind schedule? Hope you can find a start at the nursery of the same variety? I say get it in the ground.

They will do good, be gentle with the roots and introduce them to outside on nice days with lower uv if at all possible.

Its fine but don’t put them in the sun right away. They need hardening. I would put them outside in the shade for a few days before giving them sun
