‘Hot Pepperoni’ slice from ‘Marks Pizza’ in Scarborough


Good slice shops outside the downtown core are tough to come by, but Mark’s is one of the better ones. High-quality stuff, with a solid variety of slices to choose from.

I went with the hot pepperoni, which comes with cup-and-char pepperoni, hot honey, and fresh basil. The square slice has a very crispy bottom, and packed with flavour. Definitely recommended if you’re looking for good pizza in the east end.

    My optometrist is in the same plaza. I only book appointments around lunch or dinner so I can get Marks!

    Damn that looks good. I don’t know if a single place in Calgary you can get a decent slice, so treasure your good fortune.

    Don’t miss Four Sweets cookies in the same plaza. Very yummy stuff!

    Just wait till you try “The Big One” sandwich that they have only on thursdays and fridays. They make the bread out of the pizza dough.

    Also they sometimes have a meatball slice with pesto ontop, which is to die for.

    Marks is the definition of a hidden gem, and should probably be all over “top 10” toronto pizza lists, but it probably isnt because its so far east of the core. Its as good as (but obviously different than) Badiali.

    Love Marks. Lucky to live a short drive away. Highland Creek is such a hidden gem between them, Four Sweets, Northern Smoke, Fratelli’s, and HQ meats.

    There’s so much good food around there. Shawarma Queenz and Nadi Halal Kebab House are some that has not been mentioned yet.
