This is a real “let them eat cake” moment

The writing is genuinely worse than a middle schooler’s..

This is such a boring thing to get artificially hyped. The food is food, lots of people buy overpriced food in this city

And the supermarket items ($64 mAtChA) – meadow lane isn’t an importer. Whatever they’re selling is also being sold in 15 other places in the city without a line

So they figured out how to make another citarella/butterfield/eataly but with TikTok lines. Real groundbreaking

I just went to this place today. It felt like a spoof of itself. It seems to be targeted at people who don’t like choice and don’t know what food costs.

I only ate a croissant, and it was top tier.

Death threats over a store? People need to get a grip, including the ones waiting in line for this spot. Why do people care so much? There will always be things I can’t afford, I’ve accepted it and moved on.

Somehow found a way to shift the blame to the new mayoral elect n apparently EBT . People are just fucking stupid to send death threats because they cant afford to shop at this specific store. Go to dollar tree or Aldi’s. Simple.

This place is devoid of any personality or taste, so it’s perfect for influencers and anyone who doesn’t enjoy…food..ironically.

Sure – Gourmet Garage, Citarella, Jefferson Market (RIP) are overpriced, but at least they have personality.
