Sorry for the poor camera quality, couldn't get an up close one that wasn't blurry. Small black circular bug with white dots on its back. Look like a small black lady bug. In New Zealand if that helps

Foe- they want to suck out its vital juices! you can blast them off with a hose and then apply a round of Bt or Spinosad spray so any others left that nibble the plant die.
