Pretty good cheesesteak, definitely not the best. The bread is excellent tho.

This is the amount of sesame seeds I’m looking for on a hoagie roll.

That bread looks better than what you get at most of the big steak shops in and around Philly.

I’d be interested to know where they get it. Is it baked homemade in store or are they getting it from a bakery in the Philly area?

I’d order it toasted, brown those sesame seeds up good.

Reading Terminal Market is insane. I want to say I will try this place next time I’m back in Philadelphia, but it’s gonna be super hard to walk past DiNic’s, Herschel’s, Dutch Eating Place and all the other legendary spots there to get to it.

Nice! I stopped by there myself when I visited Philly earlier this year.

It’s the closest to Angelo’s in my opinion and the line is fine most of the time. I’ll take uncle gus

Beck’s Cajun Cafe is fire. Went there on a vacation. Pretty sure my sandwich was called the trainwreck or some shit. So damn good.

Can there be a best cheesesteak? Its like saying there is a best movie or song.

The steak books good but the bread looks otherworldly

I remember a place back in the 80’s and 90’s located in the middle of the terminal, took up quite a bit a space. All Italian and I had the best hoagies I’ve ever had. Used to pack a couple the day I flew back to Texas. I was there last year, first time in about 15 years and it was not there. Had another hoagie from a place in the terminal, didn’t come close. I wish I could remember the name. I miss that place!
