As an fyi to anyone interested, it’s 100% a sweet/bitter (from sugar and coffee) hot sauce. 🙂 There’s little to no savory to it, like our grilled Pineapple that has some onion/garlic in it.
We like to think of it as a dessert or ingredients hot sauce. Throw it on some ribs, a burger, ice cream, etc!
the 2 things guaranteed to help me go number 2. might be better than bran or Metamucil

This is so different from other hot sauces that it’s unlikely to be redundant, the real question is whether you will enjoy it and find it useful to have in your collection. As noted, the predominant flavor notes are sweet, bitter, and a little bit of spice although it’s not a particularly hot sauce. It reminds me a bit of steak sauce and maybe a little bit of mole sauce, although it’s been so long since I had mole I could be imagining that. It’s much less salty than their other sauces having just 10mg per serving rather than 50mg or whatever.

Eh I don’t like that brand, they put a bunch of dye in their sauces for no reason. Idk about this one but the really bright crazy green and red ones have dye.

I tried it. I tried to like it. I threw it in the trash. Sorry this one wasnt good at all, and hard to pair with anything.
El Yucateco sauces dont do much for me TBH. I liked the Habenero Chiltepin one, but the rest were just meh for me.

There’s been a few coffee hot sauces, that are good, like [Funky’s Dark Star](https://www.thehotsaucerealm.com/sauces/p/xwag3z3n9n5bzm9-l9ans-2xetx) which is A+ as is most of their stuff but this isn’t one of them.
