Ordered the classic Joe 3 a few days ago. Home Depot delivered today and needless to say it was exciting until it wasn’t. Hopefully next go around it’s not broken. Posting for everyone’s enjoyment who has an intact kj. I’ll join the club soon!!!

Happens all the time honestly at this point I’d also blame KJ for this. One or two every now and then may be a delivery issue – a weekly post here and elsewhere is a pattern. My bigjoe came completely shattered as well…

I ordered from my local Ace Hardware and had a great experience.
Think about it as free spare parts. I would keep anything usable. Ceramic is under warranty if HD doesn’t replace the entire thing.
Happened to mine that I got from Home Depot. KJ2. It was on a good sale and they ended up picking back up and gave me another 150 off the next one and I made sure it was good before the delivery driver left .

The Weber Summit Kamado definitely avoids this situation.
Ordered mine from Lowes with the option to have it pre-assembled before delivery. Heavy tip for the two guys with back braces carrying it around the house and up the stairs on my deck, but at least there was no chance I would end up with a damaged KJ.
