BG Hospitality Group has a new location for their upscale chain.
The Daily Herald recently reported Fire + Wine is opening at 200 N Kirk Road near St. Charles’ downtown. This will be their third restaurant location, the other two being in Glen Ellyn and Park Ridge. According to owner Brian Goewey, Jan. 19 is their target opening date.
The menus for Fire + Wine’s two locations are very similar, offering brunch, lunch, dinner and dessert options. For dinner, small plates, pizzas, pastas like rigatoni bolognese and entrees such as chicken caprese are available. The menu for St. Charles will be mostly the same, coming with signature cocktails.
“Our ambiance blends comfort, coolness and class with an easy-going, fun vibe,” says the description on their website.
From the Daily Herald article, the owners recently received their liquor license for the space, and it is currently under construction. What Now Chicago previously reported on Goewey, the founder of BG Hospitality Group, opening new Gia Mia locations in Naperville and Lombard. He also owns Livia in Geneva, Moto Imoto in St. Charles and Ella’s Italian Pub with Geneva and Western Springs locations.
The new restaurant is being built near the corner of E State Street and S Kirk Road. There is currently a Wendy’s location at this address, and this area is called the Fox Haven Square development.
As it is still early in the opening process for Fire + Wine, more information on the official opening date and menu will be released in the coming weeks.
