Elmo's frequently gets mentioned in the top tier of wings in WNY and I don't fault anyone that puts them there. They're best known for their "double dip" – fried, sauced, grilled, then sauced again. You can mix and match the sauces which is great. Here we went with Cajun/medium and Cajun/honey mustard (their most popular), both were excellent (as always).

The bowl threw me off, I think I usually get a plastic basket with some foil. Elmo’s going for some new presentation!

Bowls have the potential to hold more wings. I’m here for this

I’ve been hearing good things about Elmo’s for a minute now. I have to check them out soon.

I learned something about myself at Elmo’s. And that is that I apparently don’t really care for grilled wings. The char and smoke were off putting for me. The double dip concepts were cool though. The Cajun/honey mustard was surprisingly good. Glad to have tried them; wouldn’t turn them away if offered to me. I also wouldn’t go out of my way to try them again.
