My wife is opening a small bake shop and we’re planning to offer a compact but robust espresso program alongside our baked goods. In addition to espresso drinks, we will also serve several non-espresso specialty beverages such as fresh Thai iced tea and coffee, Vietnamese coffee, matcha, hojicha, and other Asian-inspired drinks (not boba).
Initially, I was considering a La Marzocco Linea Mini or Linea Classic, but we are trying to keep startup costs efficient. I recently came across this setup/deal online and wanted to get your professional opinion on whether this would be a good, reliable option for a small bake shop.
While espresso will not be our main focus, we understand how important it is to still offer consistently high-quality espresso drinks. I’d truly appreciate your thoughts and any guidance you may have.
