This has to be one of the stupidest things I’ve ever watched. It’s so tragic it becomes funny

  2. TranzAtlantic

Nothing more fun than playing with cellular tissue

  3. BrightFleece

I can’t understand why people keep posting every one of this account’s videos

_We get it_, it’s convoluted and doesn’t appear outstandingly particularly flavourful

That’s not what it’s about, we’ve all seen at least a dozen of these now, and frankly while it’s not filling or delicious it’s actually pretty amazing

Let’s go back to posting clips of people putting ice cream into lasagne, or whatever

  4. karoshikun

from which channel is that? I watched a similar one where they made a necklace and used a chili oil that looked amazing…

  5. cernegiant

This is both a joke and an incredible display of skill.

  6. Total_Fish_2972

I would eat that in a second. And I do mean a second

  7. GrandeTorino

This dude is an actual psychopath you can’t convince me otherwise

  8. Cain_draws

I think this is more appropriate for a subrredit like Next Fucking Level than here.

  9. immunotransplant

This is amazing and I’m not sure if it’s stupid or not. Not an expert.

  10. mogley1992

How is this stupid? That’s amazing, and they’re not trying to make a nice mac n cheese for comfort food or something, this is a show of skill and attention to detail, and it’s a very impressive one at that.

  11. Numb-Dimrod1216

Is it supposed to be enjoyed as food? no? then post it somewhere else

  12. AndyBlayaOverload

The fact that the top comments literally have to explain that this is a joke and no one really does this speaks volumes

  13. Lord_Parbr

Please, I’m begging you all to stop posting art videos

  14. sutphinboulevard

What is this guy’s account name? I love these.

  15. lemon_pie42

That is art with materials that can be used to make food. You can eat it, but that’s not the objective. It’s like making a painting using coffee and rice paper. You could eat it, but that’s not the intention.

Do people look at a sculpture and think “damn, that wood should be used to make chairs, why are you wasting it for art?”

  16. LordsOfFrenziedFlame

Stupid or not, it’s damn impressive

  17. coconutcorbasi

Ah it’s an edible Michael Jackson jacket, ah na, it is a long rice cake, oh no it is an edible latex glove, oh no it is a sausage shaped noodle, oh no it’s that strange phobia about lots of eyes and circles. Oh no.

  18. tourmaps

“Waiter! Yes I’ll have Zanthoxylum fish please”

“Alright, that will be 2 hours and 20 minutes”

  19. alex-skxy

Next on r/StupidFood : post makes fun of a beautifully decorated cake, because they require more than 1 hour to finish as well as more skill than the poster possesses

  20. PatentedPotato

This is the behavior of someone who would invite you over for dinner, but then drug and stitch you into a walrus.

  21. PapiChonch

*sees them carefully pull out the intestines and save them*

God no please not Fish sau-

    *Inflates intestines*

    Sigh fish sausages

  22. softhackle

This is definitely stupid, but still neat.

  23. Pandepon

Catching/Buying a fish only to turn it into an inedible flower for viral art doesn’t sit well with me one bit.

  24. Is the account that made this trying to get people to hurt themselves, or is the “eat hydrangea today” line that shows up in the video and in the teaser image supposed to be some sort of joke? Was it just an unfortunate translation, since the end-product looks like a hydrangea flower made of fish parts?

Hydrangeas are poisonous. The leaves, buds, and flowers contain cyanogenic glycosides that break down into cyanide when eaten. Don’t eat them.

There is a sort-of exception to this in Japan, where the hydrangea has cultural significance. *Amacha* is a tea produced using fermented leaves of a variety of hydrangea. It often is used in ceremonies to celebrate Buddha’s birthday. It’s naturally very sweet.
