I love HF soups and added this one to my cart without checking it out so I was surprised when I found out I had to make the noodles, a big D’Oh moment!
So as you can see my noodles were a bit too thick and big. The rest of the soup tasted great though but I wouldn’t get this again as it wasn’t worth the effort. I thought I had some Parker house rolls but had this cornbread instead. I highly recommend getting the HF cornbreads, they’re soo good!
My fav chicken soup from HF has been the Dilly Chicken & Pearl Pasta soup, I hope to see that one again. If it comes back, definitely give that one a try!

Definitely read carefully to make sure you aren’t actually making noodles (or bread) lol. Sorry that was a surprise for you. I generally have hesitated on getting meals that include actually making bread or noodles because it seems like a lot of work for little payout so far (in my personal view at least but I can be a little fussy)
No AI Image, the sub no care

And our noodles came out way too thick also 😭😭
This is our dinner tonight and I’m kind of dreading the effort. 🙂
You can always use the ones in a bag. I make a lot of soups, and that is what I use and will likely not make the ones from scratch.
I made this for lunch today. Loved making the noodles and the soup was delicious. I can’t wait to order it again. 🤷🏻♀️😂
Handmade noodles? They expect people to have a rolling pin or pasta maker? I have both but would not expect that in a meal kit unless it was called out before ordering.
I would just add some of my already made pasta, I don’t have the patience to make pasta from scratch! Is it pasta or noodles that they’re trying to make you do? We usually use pasta where I’m from. I see people use the word interchangeably and it gets confusing! (I’m not a native speaker)
I made the same mistake not realizing they actually wanted me to make the egg noodles from scratch 🙀 At first I actually considered it, but after reading the instructions I came to the realization that it was way too messy. I just used the dry egg noodles I already had in my pantry 😝 Saved me a lot of time and effort. The soup was very yummy and I didn’t miss making the noodles from scratch.
Damn they make you make the noodles? Seems kinda ridiculous
