fried chicken visitations at grocery store counters…I am curious about other people’s musings on the subject. Her fave was her uncle’s rec of the Gardena (and only the Gardena!) Albertsons…what unlikely spots (esp one offs of a chain!) have you found great friend chicken?

I liked the idea of this article, but then I realize if I buy friend chicken, it’s not going to be from the supermarket.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again:
Ralph’s fried chicken is better than Honey Kettle in Culver City
Albertsons fried chicken is amazing honestly.
The Albertsons on Crenshaw and Martin Luther king isn’t the best friend chicken in the whole city, but it’s damn good and 1/2 the price of even fast food.
