  1. 📌 Basbousa – Festive Syrup Cake

    Ingredients:
    • Aashirvaad Double Roasted Rava – 1 cup
    • Sugar – ½ cup
    • Desiccated coconut – ½ cup
    • Baking powder – 1 tsp
    • Cardamom – ¼ tsp
    • Curd – ½ cup
    • Ghee – 2 tbsp
    • Milk – ½ cup
    • Almonds (for topping) – as needed

    Syrup:
    • Sugar – ¾ cup
    • Water – ¾ cup
    • Rose water – 1 tsp

    Steps:
    1. In a bowl, mix rava, sugar, coconut, baking powder, cardamom, curd, ghee & milk. Rest 10–15 min.
    2. Pour into a greased tin, top with almonds.
    3. Bake at 180°C for 30–35 min till golden brown.
    4. Boil sugar + water for 4–5 min, add rose water.
    5. Pour warm syrup over warm cake. Rest 20–30 min.

    – Don’t overbake; golden crust = perfect texture.
