At Thanksgiving SILs BIL mentioned he had this sitting in his driveway for two years and would be a favor to him if I hauled it off. Spent about three hours cleaning it up. Holy shit that was messy. First attempt was a scratchcock chicken. Best chicken I ever had and made a killer Smokey chicken soup with the leftovers. Going to try a brisket this weekend.

    I’ve done many a spatchcock chicken and turkey, but have yet to make a “scratchcock” bird. 🤷🏼‍♂️🤣🤣
