Yes you should worry. That’s more than just the finish cracking. The ceramic is warrantied for life, get on to KJ about it.

I have been cooking on mine like that for 7 years. Does any smoke come through the crack? If it is new I would return it otherwise keep smoking.

Is not new, is about 3 years old, smoke is not Coming out of it. I’m making a brisket now which is how I noticed it, I was pointing the infrared gun at the ceramic.

That crack is whack

Yeah. That’d drive me crazy. I’d go ahead and file a warranty claim.

That’s a fire hazard , what if it decides to crumble apart during a cook while you’re in the shitter? Lights up some old leaves, maybe a passing dog, then the dog catches fire and runs into the house, setting your couch on fire. Now you have a couch fire, and frankly I don’t see the situation improving from there, even if you didn’t care for the couch.

If it’s visible from the inside I’d stop using it personally. If it’s not, it probably has some life left in it. Still start the warranty ball rolling…
