Fast-growing shawarma chain Osmow’s is moving into New Jersey.
Located at 569 Milltown Road in North Brunswick, the new eatery will host a grand opening Dec. 11.
Osmow’s will give away the brand’s signature Chicken on the ROX dish to the first 200 customers in line as part of opening-day celebrations. The festivities will also include free food samples, music, cake, photo opportunities and more.
Founded in 2001, the Canada-based restaurant offers shawarma plates and wraps, keto- and protein-friendly options, and a variety of customizable meals. The menu blends Mediterranean cuisine with the spices and flavors of founder Sam Osmow’s Egyptian roots.
The brand now operates more than 220 locations across North America.
“North Brunswick is the perfect place to bring Osmow’s next-level Mediterranean cuisine to the northeast. Our goal is to offer fresh, flavorful and customizable meals that everyone can enjoy,” said a spokesperson for franchisee Shaheen Group Inc., which operates the new location.

The representative added that the Shaheen Group aims to expand throughout New Jersey.

According to Osmow’s website, interested franchisees must have $150,000 in liquid capital and be a resident of Canada, the U.S. or hold permanent resident status.
