Is that soy sauce extremely watered down, or?
goteachyourself
I honestly find this nonsense more irritating than the OTT junk food. It feels like an alien trying to simulate a meal for humans.

Man if someone tried to feed me this they’d get an onion enema

Depends on what kind of onions these are. Some onions are very sweet and mild, kind of like apples, with no pungency or sharpness.

Look, Sylvie, this is currently stupid food, but hear me out…
Batter dip and fry those onions, then serve them with the same dipping sauces.

Oh my god I never thought I’d see my home town here. Almost proud 🥲

So some trust fund kid wanted to pretend to be a chef or why does this person have a restaurant?

I mean, I wouldn’t pay for these at a restaurant, but I am kind of curious to taste this at home or use it as a soy sauce holder for sushi.

Shit you’d find in the kitchen sink drain
gamerboy_taken_what
This is absolutely fine! I would pay like three dollars for a plate of these for the table.

genuine question, do yall think this would taste good? beyond the fact that its stupid. onions can vary, i havent tried sorrel, and by soy do they mean soy sauce?

So I looked this place up and it’s definitely like a farm to table type place. The lady seems like an earthy hippy type. Is he makes everything from her garden and this doesn’t seem like it’s a restaurant at all. She does a lot of canning and jarring and makes pasta and stuff. More like a little communal collective work/eat type place. So this doesn’t look appealing to me because I hate onions but this is not stupid food
A_Martian_Potato
People are just completely ignoring the context around this and acting like it’s supposed to be a fucking meal or something. This is probably just one of like 12 dishes you’d be served here, and it probably tastes really good.
I don’t understand why anyone has a problem with this. People just don’t understand tasting menus.

This looks like the water harry forced Dumbledore to drink in The Half Blood Prince

Onions cut so thick I thought they were saucers

Depends on the onion type. This could be excellent and isn’t inherently stupid.
Just different

Sorrel mushrooms are prized by foragers. Only thing I’ve seen covered more is chicken of the woods.
I don’t know about the whole white onion thing, but I don’t know if it’s stupid.
