Succulent stewed oxtail removed from the bone and combined with peppers, onions, and pepper jack cheese. Served on freshly baked Jamaican coco bread.

This was incredible. Indulgent, savory, and really hit the spot.

Notable is a deli with Jamaican and Caribbean flavors. So you’ll have the typical deli food, but also things like jerk fries, jerk chicken sandwiches, oxtail, egg, and cheese on coco bread, and beef patties.

Edit: no picture, but their Oxtail, Egg, and Cheese on Coco Bread was also really good.

    I’ve never tried coco bread before, I’ve seen that a beef patty is a popular filling as well.

    Is the sweetness from the bread noticeable or very subtle? This looks delicious

    I guess I’m a food-prep nerd, but my first thought was “Damn, it’s pretty labor-intensive to remove oxtail from the bone.” But at the $20+ price point, I guess it all makes sense.

    All these oxtail patty coco bread hybrid eats are great, but everything oxtail is $20+.

    The same spot that makes this probably sells a mountain of god tier hot tray and drink for $15.

    Can testify that it is as good as it looks and I have to stop myself from ordering there every week 😂 they also have a daily rotation of Jamaican food ie curry goat, stew chicken.
