Ingredients
– Bag of Cooked Mussels
– A slab of butter (50g) and olive oil (honestly we eyeballed these, just make sure both are enough to cover slightly more than the base of the pan/pot)
– 1 red onion diced
– 8 cloves of garlic minced (eyeball it to see if enough)
– 300ml of dry white wine (substitute with low salt chicken stock)
– Dash of pepper
– Some Parsley diced
– Half of packet of heavy cream

How to cook
1. Pour a good amount of oil in heated pot + melt butter
2. Add in diced onions first, saute then add in minced garlic, stir fry till fragrant, add in mussels and combine well.
3. Pour in the wine, cover the pot and let it simmer on low heat for 2 mins (cook for 5 mins if using uncooked mussels)
5. Add in parsley, dash of pepper and cream, mix well and serve with toasted bread 🍞

This muscles with creamy white wine sauce is an absolute crowd-pleaser and can be done in 10 minutes. For less prep, always choose clean muscles. Heat oil and butter in a pot. Then add in the minced garlic and onion and give it a quick sauté. Once slightly browned, add in the cleaned muscles. Then add in the white wine and simmer on low heat. Add in chopped parsley, cooking cream, and black pepper. Mix well and serve with bread or fries. So creamy, garlicky, and comforting.
